What I did wrong, when I was a little boy,
Who was a little shy but wanted to reach the sky,
Who wanted to fly like a bird, high n high.
What I did wrong, when I was in my teens
When I was a little careless but was so keen
to be noticed in many,
When I wanted to be the one, always seen.
What I did wrong, when I was in a real world,
Where I had responsibilities but none of them
Were dreams.
Where I wanted my life to purl, without too many
Twists n curl.
What I did wrong, when I was in love
Where I had this special feeling for someone,
Where I wanted someone to be in my life, without
Any questions n lie.
What I did wrong, when I was old
When I wanted somebody to be with me
When I wanted a hand to hold.
But now
When my journey is about to over,
When I want to be with God,
I know, what I did wrong
Whatever it may be,
I always smiled, I always tried.
I never complained, I never cried.
